Based on surveys of potential exhibitors and visitors, a change has been made in the trade fair schedule for the year 2003. The tenth annual trade fair for housing, real estate, renovation and reconstruction, FOR HABITAT, will be held from 6. - 8. February 2003. Though small but important changes have been made in FOR HABITAT's professional nomenclature, the range of presentations will basically remain unchanged. The choice of the February date was enabled by the extensive remodeling of the Prague Exhibition Centre in Letňany.

The concept of FOR HABITAT has a significantly multifaceted character: from acquiring flats and homes including architectural planning, construction and financing to all aspects of remodeling and reconstructing flats and homes. The presentation of kitchens and bathrooms will be expanded this year with a special emphasis on remodeling. Presentations from the banking, realty and real estate agency sectors will also be abundant.

FOR HABITAT will be accompanied by the newly conceived trade fair ECO CITY, including the exhibition REGION CITY MUNICIPALITY, which will provide space for suggestions for resolving the housing issues cities and municipalities face today. It aims to fill the exhibition space with presentations by companies active in the areas of communal equipment and urban landscaping, and will present solutions for industrial, commercial, cultural and sports arenas and development projects and other services and products related to the regional administration of cities and municipalities. As in years past, much attention will be devoted to the state of the environment and programs for improving it.
