“Town of trees“ competition

The “Town of Trees“ competition, which is a joint project of Nadace Partnerství (Partnership Foundation) and town Strakonice, keeps getting new fans. The competition took place for the first time in 2006. It follows up an original project Year of the Tree, which was organized by town Strakonice and included events for wide public focused on trees. The Partnership Foundation decided to introduce the project “Town of Trees“ also in another towns and it was a success. Session of FOR GARDEN/FOR GREENERY Preparation Committee

First coordination meeting of FOR GARDEN/FOR GREENERY preparation committee took place during FOR ARCH – international trade fair for building. The meeting took place on Thursday, September 22, 2011 in PVA EXPO PRAGUE in Letnany. This time new manager introduced herself and met new collegues from the preparation committee. Programme of the session was a short hindsight at successfull last year´s fair, introducing new design of both trade fairs as well as plans for 2012. The attention was focussed especially on accompanying programme – there will be again a two day conference – on Friday guarant of the programme focused on municipal sphere will be the Ministry of Environment and on Saturday the programme will focus on garden architecture and creation under the patronage of Accociation of Greenery Founding and Maintaining. In the end the participants discussed about particular tasks. Next meeting is planned already for November 14, 2011 where the accompanying programme will be discussed as well as placement of the expositions.   (7.10.2011)   more >>

6th International Congress of Bathing Ponds

Bathing ponds without borders – that is the motto of an event taking part from September 28 – 30, 2011 in České Budějovice. By that motto it is meant not only the diversity of naturally modified ponds but also the fall of the borders between states in Europe 20 years ago. We are glad that the congres is taking place in the heart of Europe. By organising the 2011 event in České Budějovice it is recognised that during last years 31 companies built up a high number of bathing ponds and natural pools in the Czech Republic.
